Project Manager
Drive the execution of one of Denmark's most unique greenfield defense-tech developments as our new Project Manager.
About FPRT
FirePoint Rocket Technology is building one of the most unique and strategically important industrial projects in Denmark - a new production facility for solid rocket propellant and advanced defense-tech components. Our ambition is significant: we are scaling from the early operational phase to 200+ employees within the next 18 months. Joining us now means becoming part of the core team shaping a new high-tech, safety-critical production environment from the ground up. We are looking for a Projects Manager who will act as the execution anchor for company-wide initiatives, enabling our leadership team to move business-critical projects forward with speed, structure, and accountability.
The Role
As Projects Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating cross-functional strategic and business-critical projects across the company. You will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborate closely with the CPO, CHRO, Corporate Services Director / Finance, Legal, Security, QHSE, Supply Chain, Plant / OT Automation, Site Services, and external authorities. This role ensures that complex initiatives which do not sit naturally within a single department are structured, driven, and delivered effectively with clear policies, timelines, and risk mitigation paths.
What You Will Do
1. Cross-Functional Project Leadership
Lead strategic and cross-functional projects all the way from scoping through execution and closure.
Build robust project structures, timelines, milestones, governance models, and routine follow-ups.
Ensure projects have clear ownership, transparent decision points, and definitive escalation paths to maintain delivery discipline across functions.
2. Business-Critical Project Execution
Coordinate and execute high-priority projects such as grant applications, budget preparations, investor/bank financing presentations, and strategic business cases.
Manage internal transformation, operational implementation initiatives, and selected governance, compliance, or readiness projects.
Translate ambiguous business needs into highly structured execution plans, ensuring complex deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
3. Stakeholder Coordination & Follow-Up
Consolidate and coordinate inputs from Production, HR, Finance, Legal, Security, QHSE, Supply Chain, IT, and external stakeholders.
Run efficient meetings, track actionable items, and guarantee that critical decisions are documented and fully implemented.
Identify project blockers, dependencies, and potential delays early to escalate appropriately and keep senior leadership aligned on risks.
4. Project Planning, Reporting & Governance
Maintain comprehensive project plans, status updates, action trackers, and RAID logs (Risks/Assumptions/Issues/Dependencies) to build visibility across multiple parallel initiatives.
Support the sequencing of key workstreams and help prioritize company-wide strategic projects.
Deliver highly structured, regular reporting directly to the CEO and leadership team.
5. Materials, Presentations & Business Documentation
Prepare and coordinate executive-ready materials, presentations, summaries, decision papers, and external-facing project packs.
Consolidate inputs from diverse technical and business functions into cohesive, accurate, and consistent high-quality outputs.
6. Process Improvement & Implementation Support
Support the deployment of new processes, systems, and operating models where cross-functional alignment is required.
Identify operational gaps and establish repeatable, scalable methods for managing strategic projects across the company.
What We Offer
A rare career opportunity to drive the execution of high-stakes strategic projects for one of Denmark's most unique industrial and defense-tech developments.
A role where your coordination and execution directly influence the scaling and structure of a greenfield organization.
A professional, international environment with a clear mission and purpose.
Brand-new factory & equipment.
Modern office with gym, sauna & social spaces.
Real authority, Greenfield impact, Zero toxic culture, and Mastery over busywork.
Work that protects freedom and life.
Top-of-market compensation for the right experience.
What We Are Looking For
You are a highly structured, proactive, and reliable executor with a strong analytical background and a high sense of personal ownership. You excel at navigating fast-moving, ambiguous, and scaling environments, staying calm under pressure, and pushing for decisions without needing formal line authority.
Requirements:
Experience: Strong experience coordinating complex, high-priority projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities. Professional experience working directly with senior leadership on sensitive or business-critical topics is essential.
Preferred Background: Experience in manufacturing, industrial, technical, defense, aerospace, energy, or other complex operating environments. A background in PMO, transformation, management consulting (e.g., Big 4 advisory, transactions, corporate finance), or strategic operations is highly desirable.
Specialized Expertise: A proven track record with grant applications, business cases, investor/bank materials, or building project governance structure in greenfield/scale-up environments.
Skills: Strong planning, tracking, and execution discipline. Familiarity with project governance tools, budgeting logic, and structured implementation follow-up.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation support capabilities in English. The ability to communicate clearly across all levels and functions is key, and fluency or knowledge of Danish is considered a distinct advantage.
