FirePoint Rocket Technology is building one of the most unique and strategically important industrial projects in Denmark - a new production facility for solid rocket propellant and advanced defense-tech components. Our ambition is significant: we are scaling from the early operational phase to 350+ employees within the next 18 months. Position Purpose – The Role
We are looking for a Warehouse & Inventory Manager who will build the structure and standards for our warehouse operations, ensuring that traceability, safety, and compliance are at the heart of our material flow.
As the Warehouse & Inventory Manager, you are essential for maintaining the safe, accurate, and efficient management of all warehouse operations, from the receipt of raw materials to the dispatch of finished products. You will establish the processes required to manage hazardous and high-value materials in a defense and chemical manufacturing environment.
You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager and collaborate closely with
Procurement, Production Planning, Quality Control, Logistics, and Finance.
The position is based in Vojens, Denmark and remote work is not available.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations & Material Flow
Lead and supervise daily operations in both Raw Material and Finished Product Warehouses
Ensure accurate and efficient receiving, labeling, storage, and dispatch procedures using FIFO/FEFO principles
Coordinate with Production and Logistics to align material flow with production and delivery schedules
Inventory Control & ERP Integration
Ensure continuous alignment between physical stock and ERP system data, aiming for ≥99% stock accuracy
Conduct regular cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and manage stock reports and KPIs
Oversee batch tracking and full traceability for all critical materials to ensure audit readiness
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Enforce all safety procedures for handling chemical, explosive, and hazardous materials
Ensure 100% compliance with HSE, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and defense industry standards
Collaborate with Quality Control and HSE for inspection and audit readiness
Process Optimization & Team Leadership
Develop and document warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and lead space optimization improvements
Lead Warehouse Supervisors and Operators, building a disciplined culture focused on accuracy and accountability
Collaborate with IT to enhance ERP, barcode scanning, and MES integration
What We Are Looking For
You are a detail-oriented, disciplined, and process-driven leader with a strong sense of accountability and the ability to manage complex operations under pressure.
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Management, or a related field
Experience: 5+ years of experience in warehouse or inventory management, ideally in manufacturing, chemical, or defense sectors
You must find it exciting to build and develop a workplace from scratch. Experience in this is a plus
Systems Literacy: Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Dynamics, or similar) and barcode scanning technology
Hazardous Materials: Demonstrated ability to manage the storage and handling of hazardous or high-value materials
Safety Knowledge: Deep understanding of warehouse safety and compliance frameworks in a regulated environment
Skills: Strong people management, budget optimization, and data literacy (Excel, Power BI)
Written and spoken English is mandatory
