Maintain control samples and ensure full traceability between supplier batch numbers, analyses, and production batches.
2. In-Process & Final Product Testing
Oversee testing of chemical and physical parameters for polymerized propellant batches after processing.
Validate consistency, density, bonding quality, homogeneity, and chemical stability of final products.
Review results from NDT/radiography and tomography, ensuring alignment between chemical and structural integrity results.
Authorize or reject chemical batch conformity before final release.
3. Laboratory Operations & Data Management
Manage laboratory operations, ensuring all instruments are calibrated, maintained, and used safely.
Develop and update laboratory SOPs, testing methods, and documentation templates.

Supervise safe handling, labeling, and disposal of chemicals and reagents.
Prepare laboratory for internal/external audits and certification inspections.
Train laboratory personnel in safety, testing procedures, and documentation accuracy.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
100% of incoming materials tested and approved prior to use.
100% traceable batch documentation and chemical data integrity.
Zero release of non-conforming materials or final products.
On-time delivery of QC test results to Production and Quality teams.
Successful laboratory audits (no major findings or non-conformities).
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or Material Science.
4–7 years of experience in chemical or quality control laboratories within chemical, polymer, defense, or aerospace industries.
Hands-on experience with analytical testing methods (moisture, viscosity, density, spectroscopy, etc.).
Understanding of quality management systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 17025).
Knowledge of REACH and hazardous chemical handling regulations.
